Where will your favorite stars be the week before the Emmy’s?   Where will Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik likely go and what party will other The Big Bang Theory cast members attend?   Where will we see the cast and production team of The Normal Heart?

Here is a list of the parties planned:

Saturday, August 16 – Creative Arts Emmy Show & Creative Arts Governors Ball
4 PM being held at the Nokia Theater (Emmys)  & LA Convention Center (Ball)
This is the technical awards show and subsequent ball attended by technical teams and showrunners.

Wednesday, August 20 – Directors Nominee Reception
7-9 PM Directors Guild of America 7920 W. Sunset Blvd. Los Angeles
All Director nominees are invited and receive a certificate at this event

Thursday, August 21 – Audi Emmys Celebration
7 PM, Cecconi’s, 8764 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood
Similar to agency parties, this is a peer party for nominees of the Emmys and is usually a well-attended to down-right overflowing event where anybody who is anybody in Hollywood attends.

Writers Nominee Reception
7-10 PM, TV Academy – Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre, 5220 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood
Writers take the TV Academy stage and prove which type of social personality they are most similar to (i.e., a Seth MacFarlane or a Woody Allen).   Probably one of the funniest events to attend.

Friday, August 22 – Producers Nominee Reception
The London West Hollywood, 1020 N San Vicente Blvd, West Hollywood

Friday, August 22 – CAA Pre-Emmy Soiree
Bouchon, 235 North Canon Drive, Beverly Hills (typically from 8 PM – 1 AM, but no time announced)

Saturday, August 23 – BAFTA LA TV Tea Presented by BBC America & Jaguar
2 PM- 5 PM, SLS Hotel, 465 S. La Cienega Blvd., Los Angeles
Often surprise guests show up at this event.  Traditional event held almost always on the Saturday afternoon before an Emmy award event.

Saturday, August 23 – Women In Film & Television Pre-Emmy Party with Variety
8:30-11:30 PM, Gracias Madre,  8905 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood
This year Nashville’s creator Callie Khouri and Sophia Bush will be honored.

Saturday, August 23 – TV Academy’s Peformers Nominee Reception
6:30-10 PM, Pacific Design Center, 8687 Melrose Ave At San Vicente
Nominees are able to enjoy meeting with or chatting with each other, take a “class photo” and also mingle with Executives.   Well attended by nominees.

Saturday, August 23 – UTA Pre-Emmy Party
7:30 PM, at the Brentwood home of UTA Managing Director Jay Sures and his wife, Molly Isaksen

Saturday, August 23 – Entertainment Weekly Emmy Party
9 PM, Fig & Olive, 8490 Melrose Place, West Hollywood
This is probably one of the most attended parties of the Emmys.  Producers, Executives, nominees and Hollywood stars from all disciplines come out and party.   This times itself always with the upcoming season premiere preview issue of Entertainment Weekly Magazine.

Saturday, Augsut 23 – WME
8 PM-11 PM, at the Beverly Hills residence of partner Richard Weitz
WME has many departments and business partners so the guest list is quite large at this event.  Social media sites often list directories of  previous guests.

Sunday, August 24 – ICM Partners Emmy Brunch
11:30 AM, at the Santa Monica home of partner Chris Silbermann & Julia Franz

Sunday, August 24 – NBC Pre-Emmy Party
5-9 PM Boa Stakehouse, 9200 West Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood

Sunday, August 24 – Showtime Emmy Eve Party
7 PM, Sunset Tower, 8358 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood
Special Live Performance by KT Tunstall

Sunday, August 24 – MPTF “Evening Before” Fundraiser
8 PM, The Lawn At Century Park, 2029 Century Park East, Century City
Traditionally always  before the Emmys

Sunday, August 24 – MTV Video Music Awards
The Forum in Inglewood

Monday, August 25 – 66th Annual Emmy Awards Red Carpet & Ceremony (Ceremony on NBC)
Live on both coasts at 5 PM PDT
Red Carpet arrivals to begin at 2:30 PM PDT

Monday, August 25 – 66th Annual Emmy Governors Ball
Immediately following the ceremony, LA Convention Center
Between the Creative Arts Govenors Ball and this event, there will be over 7,000 guests that hosts Cheryl Cecchetto and Russ Patrick will be preparing for, knowing full well that even with seating charts, everyone will end up sitting wherever they want.

August 25 – Fox Broadcasting/Twentieth Century Fox Television/FX/National Georgraphic Channel Celebrate their 2014 Emmy Award Nominees
8 PM, Vibiana, 214 S. Main St., Los Angeles
Specific to the population of nominees from these networks.

August 25 – HBO
8PM, The Plaza At The Pacific Design Center, 8687 Melrose Ave At San Vicente
This is one of the most posh and elegant of the balls.

August 25 – ICF/AMC After Party
8:30 PM-2 AM, Boa, 9200 W Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood
