Jim Parsons was interviewed yesterday, the day that the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Award Nominees were announced and he found out he was a dual nominee this year for his roles in The Big Bang Theory and The Normal Heart, by the entertainment media, both on air and off.
Jim’s reaction was humble:
“It’s overwhelming,” said Parsons. “I never expected anything like this and it was a hell of a morning because of it.” … “Everybody was so proud of this movie that was a part of it,” said Parsons. “It could not feel better to have it recognized by our peers.” (talking of his role in The Normal Heart)

Mayim Bialik, Joey Lawrence, Michael Stoyanov, and Jenna von Oÿ all reunited and it was like no time at all had passed for the four.
“The memories are running amok,” Mayim told ET about what it felt like to be back with the gang after all these years.

It’s officially graduation season! So as the fabulous graduate in your life is walking across the podium to get their diploma, we’re sharing a few of our favorite celebrities who have beauty and brains!
Harry Potter star Emma Watson isn’t just a star on the big screen, she’s a star in the classroom as well. The 24-year-old graduated from Brown University with a degree in English over Memorial Day Weekend. While it was not only a proud moment for the actress, it was a goal she has been determined to accomplish for years now.
“So many people told me it wasn’t possible,” the actress told Elle magazine in the April 2014 issue. “I kept saying, ‘I don’t care.’ This is what I want. And graduating will, for me, be really symbolic of all of that.”
Emma isn’t the only recent celebrity graduate. Dancing With the Stars contestant Cody Simpson graduated as the Valedictorian of his Atlanta, GA high school class this May.
“It’s what’s in here that’s going to get you furthest,” he said in his speech that he later shared on Instagram. “Regardless of any kind of wealth, or looks, or material possessions, or anything, it’s always in here that’s going to get you the furthest. Intelligence is the sexiest thing in the entire world.”
So ladies, if you want to get Cody’s attention, you better study up!
Mayim Bialik is another super-smart star. Not only does she play a Neuroscientist on The Big Bang Theory, she’s actually one in real life! The mother-of-two received her Ph.D. from UCLA in 2007.
