Variety: WATCH – Neil Patrick Harris Guest Stars on ’90s Sitcom ‘Blossom’

Though he was busy with his own regular role as Dr. Doogie Howser, Neil Patrick Harris once took a quick break to guest star in an episode of “Blossom,” the ’90s sitcom starring Mayim Bialik (“The Big Bang Theory”) in the title role.

NPH appeared in a fantasy episode titled “Rockumentary” as “Charming” Derek Slade. Dick Clark and Tori Spelling also guest star in the episode, which will air on the Hub Network on July 11.

“Blossom” centers around the life of Blossom Russo as she tackles school, friends and family.  Though the sitcom officially signed off in 1995 after five seasons, it has found a new life on the Hub Network, which has picked it up to air reruns.

The show premieres on the Hub Network at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT July 7 and will air week nights at 10  and 10:30 ET/7 and 7:30 PT.

“The Big Bang Theory” is one of the most profitable shows on television but it’s unlikely it would have reached those levels without the presence of Cuoco. Her down-to-earth Penny balances out the socially awkward characters who live across the hall and gives them a foil for plenty of physics jokes. The show has been a launching pad for Cuoco’s film career (she stars opposite Kevin Hart in “The Wedding Ringer”) and a lucrative line of endorsements for companies like Priceline and Toyota.

WIMBLEDON, England – For the first time in a decade, women’s tennis might have its next golden girl.

Prepare for the Eugenie Bouchard bombardment.

Not since a teenage Maria Sharapova won the 2004 Wimbledon and dazzled Madison Avenue has the sweet spot of marketability and talent looked greater than with Bouchard.

Something else Canadian Bouchard and Russian Sharapova share: a ruthless desire to win.

“Tough as nails,” says Chris Evert.

On a rainy Monday at Wimbledon, No. 13 seed Bouchard marched into the quarterfinals by defeating No. 25 seed Alize Cornet of France 7-6 (7-5), 7-5 on Center Court.

About ‘Wish I Was Here‘

Wish I Was Here is Zach Braff’s  film project that was well publicized for his use of Kickstarter to help raise funds to produce the film.  Zach co-wrote the script with his brother, directed, produced and acted in.   This is the second film which Zach has produced, the first being Zach’s film project ‘Garden State‘ which was a previous official selection at the  Sundance Film Festival.

Digital Spy: Ball-zinga-Big Bang Theory’s Sheldon Cooper spotted at Wimbledon

The Big Bang Theory’s very own Sheldon Cooper was on hand to measure ball velocity on Center Court at Wimbledon today (June 30).

Actor Jim Parsons looked serious in a suit and shades as he watched Canada’s Eugenie Bouchard advance to the quarter-finals.

Bouchard tweeted a photo of herself with Parsons last week, describing him as her “most positive supporter”.

HELLO: Big Bang Theory’s Jim Parsons stops for a selfie at Wimbledon

Jim Parsons sent Twitter into a frenzy when he was spotted sitting court side at Wimbledon.

The 41-year-old actor, who is best known for playing Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory, was cheering on Canadian tennis player Eugenie Bouchard in her match against France’s Alize Cornet.

Taking his seat in the royal box, Jim looked cool as a cucumber in his black shades and immactulate navy suit.

The small-screen star and tennis fan looked to be enjoying the game Centre Court as he sat alongside his partner Todd Spiewak and cheered his new friend Eugenie onto victory.

Earlier on in the tournament on Thursday, Jim and Eugenie met after a year of back and forth contact through their agents, according to Sportsnet. The stars looked thrilled to finally make each other’s acquaintance.

Or one of those guys from Men In Black that ‘flashy things’ people.
